Science Reveals the Day Your Partner Is Most Likely to Stray

You may be familiar with cuffing season, but did you know there is a particular day your partner is most likely to stray? According to Gleeden.com, touted as the No. 1 dating site for married people looking for an affair, its website is the busiest on the second Monday after Christmas. That means today, Jan. 9th, 2017, your partner may be most likely to cheat.

The site surveyed 13,000 of Gleeden’s users. Of those surveyed, 52 percent of them reveled they were more likely to cheat during this time frame as a way to “regain their freedom” following the holiday season.

Solene Paillet, the director of communications at Gleeden, explained to The Sun that it’s no surprise there is such a sharp increase in people looking to cheat in January. She said, “By registering with Gleeden or spending more time on the online platform, members are seeking a means to inject a little excitement into their everyday life.” Paillet continued, “Routine may weigh down on individuals, or be rather oppressive when it follows extended periods devoted to family life. This is the result of a legitimate human need: to have fun and think of oneself.”

So there you have it!
